Article Marketing – This may take some time but once your system is set up, there is little maintenance needed to keep generating income. Basically what you do is give people information about a certain product and place a link at the end of your article and try to make a sale. The content has to be unique and informative. It is a great way to start affiliate marketing for beginners and also learn how to optimize your website to the search engines.
Paid Advertising – This is one step you can take if you want to see faster results. The only downfall is that you need money to advertise. There are many platforms such as Google, Facebook ads and MySpace ads. You are paying each time a person sees or clicks on your ad. You need a strong landing page for the person who clicked your ad to take action. This is for more advanced marketers and can be very risky since money is involved.

ClickBank is a huge affiliate program they have been around for over 10 years, and have paid out billions of dollars in commissions to date. There are thousands of products you can choose from and they pay up to an astounding 75% commission. Highly recommended by me! Commission Junction is another huge affiliate program where you can earn some extra money. They have a lot of very reputable companies. That are vendors for them, looking for some good affiliates like you to market there products. A great example I can think of off the top of my head is Pet Smart. Another great company that comes highly recommended would be linkshare. A great company with some very quality products. Looking for you the savvy affiliate to market their products. Your last step would be to find your favorite sign up, and earn some extra money with them.
Can they do lead generation on a fee per lead basis? What does their management fee include? How much support and help can you expect from them with affiliate recruitment/reporting/problem shooting/industry updates?
What technology do they offer that is unique to them? If you can get a fair bit of detail on all of these questions then you should be in a good position to approach the negotiating stage and play them off against each other. Obviously the amount of leverage you have and how far you can go will largely depend on the size of your business and what kind of revenue you will bring the affiliate networks. Make the networks excited about your marketing and growth plans. Explain your past performance and what your plans are for the next year – if they see you as an expanding and growing brand then they will stretch further to meet your needs.
If there is discrepancy then follow your intuition because often times, it would turn out to be the best idea. Granted, your intuition could be wrong some times but that usually happens where you have not developed it to a level of accuracy. It thrives on constant use. Your subconscious mind has the potential to set you apart from the crowd and shows you better ways of getting things done. Whenever you face a difficult issue/situation, first search your knowledge base for any related experience on the issue/situation and note any possible solutions you generate in the process. Similarly, pass the information about the issue/situation to your subconscious to generate various ideas on it. However, you must ensure that your past experience or judgment does not come in at this time.
Thereafter, identify and arrange ideas generated in terms of their priorities and when this is done, you now have different solutions to the issue/situation at hand, evaluate them and choose the best solution. If you actually take pains to follow this process, then you will have creatively solved the problem and probably come up with unique ideas that would shoot up your affiliate commissions.
Suppose you choose a colon cleanser product or ebook on colon cleansing. Place it on your website or blog with a brief description about the product and put the affiliate link. Make a list of all possible niche keywords related to colon cleansing. Write articles on every niche phrases you discovered. Use the keyword on your article title as well as its body. Submit them to major article directories. Remember in bum marketing, what matters is the quantity rather than quality. Write more and more articles to get lots of backlinks to your product page. This will help your product page to come up in the search engine. I know writing articles is very laborious work but if you really want to make serious money on the internet, you have to work hard. It is much better than PPC or email marketing as PPC is a temporary solution and costly too whereas email marketing is considered spam by many free email services as well as by those whom you are sending emails. Writing articles on a single topic will reduce your research work.
