I think this place has the potential to give great service, but because there's only one room, work is done in a rushed and haphazard manner. What should be a relaxing experience morphs into frustration! My friend booked me a massage and wax for my birthday, I went in for the massage that was rushed. I had to reschedule the wax because my hair hadn't grown in so much. Worked with the front desk to pick a suitable date and time, finalized for 1pm, and left. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from the front desk a dat to my appointment to ask if my appointment could be moved to 12pm, I said it was fine. Imagine my surprise when I get another call from your front desk on the day of the appointment, just a couple minutes away, to tell me they would like to reschedule for 2pm. I disagreed and asked to stick to the original time, they accepted. I arrived at the spa, and there was another lady there booked for the same time as I, who was scheduled a week ago. Sure, they attended to me first, but how can you not have sufficient wax strips for a wax appointment? Leaving me with hairs scattered in different areas of my legs! Some of the strips were so overfilled with wax, but the lady kept reusing in a bid to manage what she had. Only four strips for a full leg wax? I'm so disappointed. My suggestion is to get another room and/or worker, or don't overbook and overwhelm your staff!
I'm enjoying this place set inside a hotel, and they dismantle the thought that the cost would be extra because of their location. Have had a 1 hour massage, pedicure, twice, and nails done. They're consistent. Friend visiting from Paris said her 30 minute massage beat anything she's ever had in Paris!
Environment is okay but the service I got horrible. Attendant was welcoming, ended up reducing 2 hours service to 40 mins. Stating the package didn't include pedicure which she mistakenly added hence subtracting reducing it to 40 mins.
I had a good experience there. The space and environment are great. I booked my appointment and came on time, but the attendant was late. I didn't wait too long though and had my nails done. The staff are good at doing the job and it was excellent at work, but I think they could be more friendly and smile more. A friend had a massage and we agree on the feedback after care. The experience was relaxing and I would recommend the facility to any person who would want to have a treat.
We had a couples massage at the spa this morning. Had to book single masages online with slightly different start times, so we were happy they could accommodate and give us couple massages. Starting with the positives the room was a converted hotel room in the second floor of the hotel. The quality of the massage was good (when they were actually focusing on the masage). Now to the negatives, both our masseuses were distracted parts of our massage. Head massage should not mean one hand free to check your phone and mindlessly rubbing the clients head without any preassure. Of course this is only an assumption on our part as we were laying with our head down on the massage bench. But placing the phone next to my fiancés ear and accidently starting a video blasting the audio kind of gave it away. Would reccommend finding a different spa where the employees focus on the work at hand rather than their phones.
